Position No.1: IT QA Analyst.

About Project/Domain: 

A leading e-commerce retailer of pet medicine and supplies is looking for an IT Quality Assurance Analyst to join our growing team. As a QA you will be part of a team responsible for working on all aspects of their IT initiatives. You will report to the Director of Project Management and work closely with the developers, database administrators, azure architects, and the QA process. 
This is a full-time remote contract position.

Requirements and Responsibilities:

As an IT QA, you will lead the evaluation, testing, and validation of all systems, services, and/or software to ensure all deployments meet established quality standards. 

What you will do:

  • Handle Agile/Waterfall QA processes and lifecycle, from smoke/regression tests and integration to staging and production deployments. 
  • Design, architect, and implement test automation for continuous testing using Selenium or other frameworks with CI/CD.
  • Perform manual testing of web and e-commerce applications and related backend systems. Create and document Test Cases based on product requirements.
  • Ability to log bugs with clear steps, screenshots, and concise descriptions to assist developers in debugging.
  • Ability to create accurate test scripts.
  • Work collaboratively with Developers, DBAs, and Architects to gather and solidify load test requirements. Create and maintain load test scenarios. Execute and analyze load test results. Demonstrate experience in using APM (Application Performance Monitoring) tools to analyze and resolve performance-related issues. 
  • Contribute to improving processes and give feedback in Sprint retrospectives.
  • Ability to identify and analyze issues and bugs.
  • Work with Business Analysts, Project Managers, Developers, and Business Stakeholders to clarify acceptance criteria.

Experience:

  • Minimum of 3 years in the QA field in testing commercial web applications and supporting backend systems.
  • Must be able to implement/customize automation frameworks.
  • Must have experience with performance/load testing, and automation. Strong familiarity with performance/load test tools such as Gatling, JMeter, or BlazeMeter.
  • Experience with APM tools: Dynatrace, AppDynamics, New Relic, DataDog, Splunk, database, and application logs.
  • Acceptance, Accessibility, API, Unit, Functional, Integration, Interface, System, Smoke, Regression, Performance/Load, Stress, Security, Compatibility, Usability, Compliance, or Static Testing are well known to you.
  • Agile methodologies such as Scrum with a focus on Continuous Integration and Deployment.
  • Good understanding of data architecture concepts.
  • Software documentation (Confluence).
  • Project Management Tool (Jira).
  • Excellent planning and communication skills.
  • Team player with a willingness to collaborate.

Plus to have:

  • Understanding of SQL and programming languages.

Education:

  • B.S. in Computer Science or Equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum 3 years of Professional Experience.
  • Familiar with Enterprise Applications: ERP and E-commerce Platform.


Position No.2: Hybrid QA

Experience: 3-6 years 

Requirement:
  • Review and analyze requirements, specifications, and technical design documents, providing timely feedback.
  • Develop detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases.
  • Prioritize and plan testing activities daily.
  • Identify and report issues found, then verify that issues are resolved.
  • Perform manual testing and automation testing.
  • Identify specific cases that should be automated and discuss them with other QA engineers.
  • Write clean, high-quality scripts that test product functionality automatically.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (developers, product marketing managers) to find ways on how testing process and automation can improve the workflow.
  • Take part in brainstorming to develop new ideas and designs that improve existing processes.

Skills and Tools:

  • Working knowledge of test management software, and functional and regression testing. Familiar with tools like Testrail, HP-ALM, etc.
  • Experience with Web automation and API automation, DB Testing.
  • Experience with Agile methodologies. Familiar with Agile Tools like JIRA, Confluence, SharePoint, etc.
  • Experience working with Selenium WebDriver and Appium and/or any automation frameworks.
  • Experience working on iOS and Android platforms.

Position No.3: ECOM Automation QA (2 Positions)

Experience: 4-6 Years       

Requirements:

  • 4-6 Years of Automation Experience in Overall QA Experience.
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in automation testing.
  • 3+ years of experience with JavaScript, and  JAVA.
  • Knowledge of CI/CD tools like Jenkins, and Circle CI.
  • Experience with GIT, Bitbucket, JIRA, and TestRail.

Technical Skills:

  • Experience with test automation frameworks (Opentest, TestNg, etc.), and Selenium WebDriver.
  • Hands-on experience with writing automation test code and utilizing leading industry standard tools (Selenium, Postman, SoapUI, IDEs, etc.)
  • Understanding of PMLC/SDLC concepts, and web technologies, including web services, web application servers, and RESTful APIs.
  • Experience with a SaaS platform (Salesforce Comers Cloud) or in a web environment is preferred.
  • Experience in designing and building test harnesses for automation testing.
  • Experience building automation test scripts for both web-based and desktop applications.
  • Experience building automation test scripts for iOS and Android devices.
  • Knowledge of Appium libraries to automate Android/iOS apps.
  • Knowledge of object-oriented design.
  • Assist with test environment setup and management.

Basic QA Skills:

  • Experience with Waterfall and Agile methodologies.
  • Understanding of Quality Assurance best practices.
  • Support the testing program.
  • Assist with test planning of testing efforts.
  • Design and execute test cases for front-end and back-end.
  • Identify and capture test data to support test planning and execution.

Position No.5: Senior Software QA Automation Engineer

Job Description:

We are seeking a senior-level Quality Automation Engineer to join one of the application's engineering teams. In both web and native mobile app forms, it is one of the major applications that connect caregivers to children or elders at times when their regular care arrangements fail. You will be responsible for the development of QE Automation for your team, setting strategies and approaches. We require strong programming fundamentals and automation experience to help develop in all phases of the release cycle. 

Help us automate and build up the automation testing area for regression and new feature testing. As an integral part of an Agile development team, you will be responsible for using and contributing to establishing standards and best practices, writing new automation tests, executing QE Automation from User Stories to End-to-End tests, and establishing new areas of automation for the product. Establish long-term and sustainable QE Automation for the product line. 

The Senior Software QA Automation Engineer is expected to possess the skills necessary for working closely with the engineering team during all aspects of the development process. This position requires a self-motivated and dynamic individual with strong technical and communication skills who can contribute to a team environment. 


Education/Experience/Skills:

  • Experience in one or more Scripting/Programming Languages including JavaScript, Python, or Swift.
  • Automation experience with testing methodologies; UI, Continuous Integration, Functional, Performance, Regression, and Load.
  • Automation development experience with tests and strategies for Web and Native Mobile products.
  • API automation test development and strategies experience.
  • Develop Automation test strategies; write test plans, test cases, and test tools, executing your plan and reporting results.
  • Ability to deliver solid work on tight schedules.
  • Maintain and scale automation suites.
  • Ability to investigate, debug and triage difficult problems in automation, and independently work towards results.
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science or equivalent work experience. 
  • 6-8 years of software testing of web-based and/or mobile applications.
